Dr Magaela is a hardworking and compassionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist that has a practice at Dr SK Matseke Memorial Hospital (formally known as Lesedi). She is passionate about pregnancy and women’s health.

Dr Magaela obtained her bachelors degree of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pretoria in 2010. Her interest in women’s health was ignited in 2011 as an intern rotating in Obstetrics and Gyanecology at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital.

She joined the dapartment of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Klerksdorp Hospital in 2013 as a community service medical officer where her love for women’s health grew. She completed her post graduate speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the university of Pretoria in 2017.

Dr Magela practised as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Rahima Mother and Child Hospital from 2018 till 2022, where she prioritised undergraduate training at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Dr Magaela joined Dr SK Matseke Memorial Hospital in Diepkloof Soweto in 2020 where she continues to advocate for women’s health.
